Boss is not even remembering my name - MIS says our team performed to the best - remain as a neglected staff - wanted a transfer from the existing group - Repeatedly requested for transfer - No reply for the mails sent for knowing the facts for giving the poor performance report - No reply for the mails asking for what area of the work has to be improved - Received a reply stating that due to shortage of officers unable to give a transfer. Want to have a change within the organisation - Other groups are ready to take me as they are confident in my performance -

Asker talks in clipped sentences - comes off like Walter Winchell - seems uptight.

Perhaps you should consider looking completely elsewhere for advancement. If you are as good as you say you are, you should have no trouble finding you another job.

Well...in a few cases where I felt the same way...I usually found the problem in the mirror. If someone really can't even recall your name..and it's not just an act to embarress you (something else to consider and a whole 'nother bags of cats) then maybe your impression on him needs modification....from your end.

I had a boss once, and I was his asst..in a chain org.

I finally learned that he had turned down 3 promotions for me out of town. Ya, nothing I did ever pleased him. Worked my a** off for him, long hours etc.

I'm sure he didn't want me to go.
I left the co. He tried to stop it.

Maybe you need to speak directly to your human resources department. You have a right to dispute or refuse to sign a poor performance review.
