i found a bottle in the trunk of my car from like two weeks ago. Now the formula has left a horrible stain in the botlle and the nipple. i tried soap & water, boiling it, and even washing in the dish washer. so far nothing worked.

wow people are harsh! i'd try bleach water on the bottle, throw the nipple out. yes bottles may be cheap....but when you have a baby all your money goes on the other necesities(sp?) like DIAPERS & WIPES!!!! trust me i know!!

I would throw it away if it was *that* bad. You might try soaking it in bleach water for a bit to see what that would do. You may be able to save the bottle but probably throw the nipple out and replace it. The rubber they use breaks down easier so even if it does look good after some bleach it would probably have small cracks that could harbor bacteria in it. Good luck!

You could try boiling the bottles/nipples in water.

Buy some Playtex nurser bottles. They have drop in liners that are disposable....no more brushing bottles clean...only the nipple. It's much more sanitary.

Wow, what a great mom. A name with "******" in it and it sounds like you were debating wether or not to let your baby feed out of something that looks/smells like you got it from a garbage dump.

Some stains are tough - but baking soda and lemon juice can sometimes help... I don't blame you - I'd toss them too - but baking soda has a million and one great uses...
