Rhyming and echolalia (repeating what others say) can be symptoms of schizophrenia - see below. In my opinion it could also be an obsessive-compulsive type disorder. You should see you primary doctor and a psychiatrist to determine if there is a problem.

Schizophrenia
n Psychotic or ‘positive’ symptoms
– Delusions.
• Paranoid delusions.
• Ideas of reference.
– Hallucinations (hearing and seeing
things that are not there).
– Thought disorders.
• Loose associations.
• Concrete thinking.
– Echolalia or rhyming.

This may give you a bit of a scare
but I'm afraid you're turning into Rupert Bear

This diagnosis may seem mean
but cases before like this I've seen

First the jacket bright and red
then the fur covering your head

Yellow scarf and trousers follow soon
then people think you're a proper loon

Away they'll take you to the funny farm
where you won't do yourself any further harm

The bit of your brain that makes you rhyme
will be removed - given time

They will extract it through your nose
and replace it with one that thinks in prose

And if allowed lengthy recuperation
it will improve your situation

until one day you will find
that you don't talk in rhymes any more whatsover

Oh seriously. I don't think rhyming all day makes you insane, lazy or stupid.

Everyone I know has something they do in their head to pass the time. Sounds like rhyming is yours. My mental passtimes include mental grocery lists and berating myself about cleaning, lol.

I don't rhyme, but I do count to myself all day.
How many cars I see, how many shadows, how many pens, etc.
Yes, I have OCD. Comes in quite handy when someone needs to know how many of something there are. Odds are I've already counted, and have the answer.

No, I can't say that I do. If you're worried about abnormality, I'd like to reassure you that many great artists/geniuses had quirks. They didn't let them hinder their future and you shouldn't either. Find a positive to this--besides seeming playful, you may have a great future as a rapper! :)

Who are you looking at?
I don't rhyme like that!
Well I guess that if I do
It's okay. You do too.
But are you a person of good,
Who rhymes of what they should?
Or are you person of bad?
Who makes rhymes like my Dad?
Now you've made me confused.
I'm angry; Don't like to be used!
