There are many planets within our solar system with "days" that are longer than their years..take Mercury as an example...it takes Mercury a mere 88 days to orbit the Sun (its "year")...but requires more than two of our "years" to complete on revolution. And mercurys rotation upon its' axis is actually "retrograde", meaning that in relation to its' orbit around the Sun, it's actually spinning in "reverse" when as compared with other planets. One year (of our Earth years that is), the sunny side of Mercury is well above 400 degrees; while the dark side of the airless planet, is close to MINUS 400 degrees. There is an 800 degree difference between the sunny side and the dark sides of Venus. But regarding your question..."YES", Mercurys "Day" is much longer than it's 88-day "year".
