Its best to be straight up from the beginning if you plan to cheat, so both can go your own way without making things worst. If you cheat or plan to cheat, you really don't love the person you are with.So don't waste her time and let her move on with a better person. If you lust for some one else then you need to find more things to do in you relationship to better it instead of going out and cheating.

I have never asked my man that question, for fear that the answer might be the one I don't want to hear. I think both are equally as bad. Cheating and lying are the worst things to do to someone. I would never ask, I would just know, either that or I would be told. If I ever was told such a thing I would go from there. No I would not want my man to tell me that he is lusting after another woman, it would hurt to bad. See, men lie, but women always know.

I would say that it is more than lying it's deception. It makes your mind wonder about everything that you were ever told. Once you loose trust the relationship is nearly doomed. I encourage you to be honest. Maybe not blunt, but try to determine what is causing you to look beyond your mate. As far as the are you cheating question goes; if you don't have the balls to tell the truth stop cheating or end the relationship immediately. If she finds out you are cheating, life as you know it is over. You will have never told the truth in your entire life and you won't ever tell the truth again (as far as she is concerned). And she'll probably continue the relationship to torture you while she prepares her plan B.

I would much rather my husband tell me that he is cheating or does lust after another women. To me this tells me that he trusts me and talks to me, and the fact that he isn't just doing it because he is bored with me. I also know that he can communicate with me. We always talk about other women and men in our marriage and I think it is a good thing; simply because we acknowledge the fact that we are human and that even though we are married the feeling and the want of sleeping with another person doesn't just go away. I would much rather him talk to me as opposed to just doing. That is backstabbing and a lie.

i guess i would prefer the truth straight up. a lie is one thing and cheating is another, but cheating and then lying about it is worse than either one separately

I would much rather have someone tell me to my face that they want to bang another woman than to find out three years later that it went on behind my back and that my husband who supposedly loved me had been lying to me the whole time.

Either way, it is going to be devastating. If a lie is told, there is a little more salt in the wound. But the most hurtful thing is having someone that is unfaithful, especially after you've given yourself to someone.

If you are honest the issue can be talked through and worked out between the people involved. I guarantee that if she is asking the question are you cheating, she already knows you are she just wants you to admit to it.

My ex boyfriend cheated and I dumped him. I didn't dump him because of the sexual aspect of infidelity. I dumped him because I suspected it and when I confronted him he lied about it and deliberately continued to deceive me and made me think that I was being paranoid and insecure. Well I wasn't...I found out that he was cheating when the other woman answered his phone and confirmed it. After wards, he tried to apologize and convince me that he had made a terrible mistake and to stay with him.

I would prefer you tell me straight out than me having to find out for myself. It only shows that you have no respect for me and that it's bad enough you cheated on me, but then you lie to my face.
See ya
