Babe Ruth - a former player with the Boston Red Sox, New York Yankees and Boston Braves - was a pitcher/outfielder in the early 20th Century.

Considered by many to be the greatest player of all time, he amassed 714 home runs throughout his career and even though Hank Aaron, and Barry Bonds have more career home runs "The Babe" set the standard that all other major league players will be measured by.
