This question assumes that you CAN make peace with Islamic countries. This is a trick question because unless you Are an Islamic country, you CAN'T make peace with an Islamic country. If you read the Qu'ran you'd know that their whole point is to convert the whole world by force. Since they have no intention to live side by side with non Muslim nations because they have no sense of tolerance like Americans (at least pretend to ) have, this won't happen anywhere is the forseable future. I'd like to hope that one day they will outgrow this narrowminded form of thinking but I won't see it in my lifetime.

There will be peace when they stop supporting terrorism and keep to themselves. Only they have the control to create peace.
And Sassy above me is speaking out of ignorance. You obviously have no idea how great a need the alliance with Israel is in that region. If the U.S. gives that up, we have no port and no hold in that region - only giving the arab nations more power and us less control. It's easy for you to bark about it all until the Muslims are on YOUR doorstep, huh?

They have to learn that to first police their own fanactical fringe elements (aka jihadists and terrorists). However, they just do not seem to care. How can you make friends with a country that allows these types to have safe harbor in their countries? I am so sick of all the outrage from Lebanon. Where was the outrage when all of the Hezbollah fanatics moved in all around them? Now they pay the price. Israel has the right idea.

Thank you for your question. Start by seeking the whole truth about situations in Muslim countries, then continue by forming a fair idea.
For example, you can find the whole truth about what's currently going on in the Middle East through Al Jazeera news website or channel. Give it a try then form a fair opinion. Unlike other news channels it shows deaths, killings and disasters in all parties and not biased.

According to the text of the Koran, we can either: (1) all convert to Islam or (2) die. It frankly doesn't seem worth it to me. Maybe we should ask Muslims how they can make peace with the rest of us -- without converting or killing us.

Convert to Islam, start killing all the Jews, Christians, and other non-Muslims around us and declare war on Israel. Also, force women to only show their eyes and hands in public and destroy all alcoholic beverages. That should be a start.

We just have to accept their beliefs... They have a whole different cosmology which we MUST come to terms with. Christians are not the only ones living on this planet! Muslims beliefs should be respected and not judged or mocked; if some of us want to be called pacifists or civilized.............No one has the right to change their way of thinking or acting, simply because some don't agree with it!
