Do you feel poorly physically or emotionally? And how long has this been occuring?
If emotional, reach out to friends and family. Do not be inactive. If physical, how long has it been since you had a physical?
I find when I don't feel good, regardless of the cause, that not sitting and giving in helps. I call a friend and go to lunch. I call and friend to talk about anything. I write a letter or email to a friend. I play games on the internet and chat about fun stuff with strangers. I go to the gym and lose myself in either the exercise or chat during the treatmill.
Maybe a change in your life would help. Volunteer and make others feel good. Just don't isolate yourself with going to work, coming home, etc. And definitely don't turn to alcohol or drugs to improve your attitude on life, for both could increase both physical and emotional lability.

if your not feeling well you could always take a hot shower... that always helps me, or they make this stuff called "herb alot" and its this drink for sick people and its green, it looks like it tastes nasty but it doesnt. after i drink that im always feeling better. or you could make some chicken noodle soop... or some tea.
