its happened,, and i know you and i are about the same hieght so it probably has already happened to you too. how did it go before?, personally i hate it when thier pants are too small for me, but i think you covered that in a different question didnt you...

In response to Broken's statement: since when is it a fact that women should only date men taller than them? I must have missed out on that discovery.
I'm 5'11 so it is difficult to date guys that are taller than I am - a lot of guys are put off or intimidated by my height (especially when I wear heels).
I have actually been dating a wonderful guy (for four years) who is actually a little shorter than I am, and although it bugged me at first, I realized that it was his personality I was in love with and not his height.
I think this sums it up for me: "Those that mind don't matter, and those that matter don't mind."

I would because if they are a great person with a wonderful personality that likes me for who I truly am then I wouldn't dare how short they were. I would prefer to be taller than me but if he is truly worth it why not date him. Love is blind and does not care about physical appearance. I wouldn't either. Now I do draw lines but I believe that everyone deserves a chance. I wouldn't care what anyone said either because I would have found someone who likes me which is probably better than what they have. So I would say go ahead and give it a try.

no because i am a girl and usually the guy is shorter and usually i dont care about that stuff but as a fact u should date guys taller and women shorter or equal size

maybe at first, i wouldn't be attracted to him. but im the type of person who looks at a guy's personality. when i get a chance to hang out with him and i really like his personality, then his height wouldn't matter.
before, i didn't like dating shorter men, or men from my own country (i wanted a foreigner) but i started liking this guy who is from my country and shorter than i am! because he is very nice, a gentleman, knows how to respect women, and matured -- i just fell in love with him, but i never said anything. and eventually he found his match (whom his sister, my friend, disapproves of) but it's kinda too late already.
so i guess, love is blind. as for dating -- maybe at first i wouldn't prefer to go out with somebody shorter, but he has to prove that he is a good guy for me to go after him.

yes and I have before. He was about 1/2 in shorter than I was. Im only 5'5" so it was cute.

My fiancee is shorter than I am. He is absolutely awesome! he is very good at...everything! As well as A really good man to me and our children. Sometimes you just have to take a chance. You may wind up...Happy.
