Tell her that sports are really important to you and that contacts will improve your performance. They're both true. Contacts allow you to see so much better.

Try telling her that you love sports and it is an important part of being active and that it is extremely hard to play with glasses. You could tell her you will only wear contacts during practices and games or other times your glasses might fall off. If she still says no then try goggles.

Tell her that glasses can get broken on the court. Say something like,"What if go after a loose ball and my glasses fall off and get crushed?"
Contacts stay in, for the most part. Glasses are distraction to you playing the game.

Show some responsibility for the contacts. Either get some sort of a job and pay for them yourself, or offer to at least help pay for them, or make a deal with you parents that you'll work off the expense for them. If playing sports is important enough to you, you'll try and show your parents how important it is to you to have them.

contacts will give u the pain of ur life, my sis had contacts, they take forever to put in, if u forget to take them out then wen u sleep its possible they will go in the back of your eye. use the safe sport clases, go to ur eye doctor and ask if they prescribe the kind of glasses that kareem abdull jabbar use to wear.
