After I stopped taking the pill, we used alternate forms of protection for 3 mo to make sure it was all out of my system, after that, it took 2 months. :)

The bit about having to wait any certain period of time before getting pregnant after going off the pill is nothing but a myth. There is no residue left in your body that will harm the baby. I got pregnant 1 month after going off the pill with both my boys. But everyone is different...

You should not try to get pregnant for three months after quitting the pill - the hormones are still in your system and can cause problems in the pregnancy. Use alternative contraception for those three months - condoms, foam, diaphragm - and then go bareback. It's not worth the risk to try and get pg right away.

Everyones body functions differently. Some women may get pregnant immediately after wards and others may take time. There's no REAL way of telling how fast you will get pregnant once you stop taking ANY contraceptive.

Some doctors recommend waiting 3 months before attempting to get pregnant. That way all the hormones have the time to straighten out. After that, try for a year before seeking expert help. Good luck and thanks for posting your question.

it took me about a week with my first child now I'm going to start taking the pill soon & then stop taking it to see if i can get pregnant but never give up i know it gets hard & frustrating sometimes believe me it does me too but good luck

it depends on the person but usually the next month the average woman can conceive. But just because ti doesn't happen doesn't mean that you are not gonna be able to. Look into ovulation and begin watching your body for the signs to tell you when to try to conceive. Good luck.

I got pregnant in my second cycle. I was prepared for it to take a year or so.
