There are numerous unsolved crimes but that doesn't mean they are perfect. IMO a "perfect" crime is one where there isn't any evidence of a crime in the first place. For example, the Natalie Holloway thing is pretty close... there is no evidence that anything bad happened to her and there is no evidence linking anyone to any crime.

I remember watching a special a few years ago about the Zodiac Killer. It was actually pretty creepy since the guy was never caught and he'd keep sending letters out. I'm guessing he's either dead by now or a really old guy.
