Thighs are difficult. You really have to work them. You should do three sets of the following exercises once per week:

Hack Squats
Leg Presses
Leg Curls
Leg Extensinos
Straight Leg Deadlifts

You should do 12 reps the first set, 10 in the second and 8 in the last. It will take a long time. Maybe 8 months before you really make good progress. Find the best amount of weight to use and don't overdo. Especially at first. Weightlifting can be really dangerous. You should also talk to a doctor before you start to make sure that you can begin a heavy exercise regimen. If you have an exisiting problem a heavy regimen could seriously injure you. Good Luck!

Well it sounds like thats just the way your body is shaped. If your past puberty, your not really gonna develop any more thick ness especially in a place like your theighs. Thats just how your legs are shaped. Learn to love it and be glad your not complaining about being flat chested, with no butt and big ole thighs. Lol...

Do squats to build your thigh muscles and they'll become thick and firm. Get a routine from a trainer @ the gym.

Add cardio to your workout regiment. This gets your heart rate going to burn excess calories and it gives you lean/long muscles. No bulk. Step class, running.

basically what everybody else has said, but all of your thickness might not go to your thighs. it depends on the person and their body shape.
