I remembered seeing some information at the Holocaust Museum in DC. Very sad and troubling stuff. I was in Thorpe England when the so-called Gypsy Queen died... supposedly there was some sort of ceremony where they burnt a car... could be total BS, I was not there. Just a tibbit I remember. I also remember stories from my family in Italy and Russia that gypsys would cut off people's hands for their Rolex. Litterally. I doubt it, but these are the kinds of stories that circulate about this group of people. Also, famous for pick-pocketing. Not saying any of it is the truth... just what is said. Hope this helps.
