Signing up for paypal and using paypal is free. Even withdrawing money from your paypal to your checking account is free.
However, if you want to transfer money, paypal takes a little part of it. If you send someone $50 then the recipient will actually get approximately $47 because paypal takes a percentage of the amount.

Paypal sucks. You have to give Paypal a credit card number in order to spend the money already in your account. That's why I use Stormpay and E-gold.

Paypal is free for the person SENDING the money... the person RECEIVING the money has a small amount deducted from the amount received.

Yes there is no fee but you do have to have $3.95 taken from the account you are using but once it goes through you get the money back that is just how they make sure it is a legit account.â¥
