ok guys
so far, you have giving a fair amount of responses. thank u so much.
but all of you are saying, that it leads to lack of excersise, believe me that is not my problem. i am a swimmer, i swimm a lot, far is not a problem.
i was more refering towards like your eyes or brain, or something like that.

Watching too much tv is bad for your health because your body in order to be healthy and have energy needs a regular amount of physical activity. My freind watches tv as soon as he gets home from sitting at work every day. He's soooo tired all the time, and gaining weight. i'd advise finding something outdoors to take some of the place of some of that tv time.

Too much of anything can hurt you----with TV you're looking at a lack of excersize and fresh air---this can lead to being over weight and atrophy----not good---let alone the disconnect from interpersonal interplay which is not good psychologically---so yes too much TV can be very bad for your health

Bad for your health because if all you do is watch TV, you aren't getting any exercise. Sit there and drink sodas and eat junk and soon they'll be ordering a crane to get you out of the house.

Television watching = lethargy
Lethargy = Fat
Fat = High Blood Pressure, High Risk for Heart Disease, Potential for Diabetes, etc.

So yes, too much TV is bad for your health.

ywes because all you do is sit there and dont do anything physical and so your muscsles become fat and your brain becomes mush because its not getting any "excercise" by doing something else that requires alot of thinking or omsething., GET OUT AND DO SOMTHING!

very bad!, bad for your eyes! and not getting enough sleep also triggers lots of other health problems, like appetite, your awareness, your sex life and many etc..
