I have a titanium ring. They're less expensive, usually silver in color, and quite durable. Mine is about 3 years old and has some scratches on it, but I have no fear about really tearing it up.

My husband is an iron worker and he is rough on his hands. Titanium is the toughest metal and if you get polished it will be as shiny as platinum.

My husband is getting black titanium. Tungston is the hardest but you cant even cut it off if it gets tight so you have to get it a little big. Those two i think are the best.

Platinum is the best and most expensive.

Its very heavy and mine doesnt scratch. I dont know why yours does unless its not platinum.

Try the titanium ones. They are light and very strong
