I noticed that I am getting emails returned to me that I did not send. Apparently spammers are using my email address in their reply portion when sending emails, so different people haveing been sending me emails telling me not to spam them, and I have been getting emails telling me that an email was not able to be sent because the address is incorrect. Is there anyway to forward the headers to yahoo, so that I can block that smtp server? What should I do?

i get those all teh time, they are scam emails in themselves. when you open it it sends a message to the "real" sender and they know you have a vaild email that they can send other spam to. Best bet... don't open any emails that you don't know who they are from. Don't open any attachments that you are not 100% sure are safe and from someone you know. Just delete anything that you didn't ask to have sent to you or that is not from someone you know.

I had this happen to me kinda...I got an email supposedly from my sister (the email address was correct) when I opened it, it was just a buncha forwards and the "to" said some porn site. When I went back to my inbox I had a failure to deliver notice to one of the contacts in my address book. I deleted the damn email, emailed everyone in my address book and told them NOT to open an email from me that had the forward sign or a sketchy subject, then I cleaned up (ran virus scan, spybot, cleaned out all the caches, disk cleanup) hasn't happened since. Hope I kinda helped, ^_^
You can also report "impersonation" to yahoo, I found you a link.
