it's very bad people shouldn't be narcissistic

Bad.

America creates an environment that encourages narcissism. However, like any blanket statement, it would be wrong to assume that all Americans are narcissistic by virtue of their citizenship.

Americans are a whole lot of things. Narcissistic is one of them. No, it's not really a good thing.
