I LOVE the Dixie Chicks!!! I liked them before all the controversy, they write their own music, play their own instruments--they are very talented! Natalie has an amazing voice and Emily and Martie are fantastic musicians. I think they are also very courageous and I really admire them. Also their new CD is their best!!!

I like Country Music but not Any of their music!!!

To be ditchin' on America & The U.S. President like they did in a foreign country---won't listen to them at all. He is the Commander In Chief & freedom of speech or not, total lack of respect!!! Oooh, what the Dixie Chicks can really run the country so much better?? What would they sing there way out of everything & make us all fall asleep. LOL!!! They are trying to be celebrites in there way, voice some mumble jumble & the music & them took a dive.

I'd love to see those redneck girls even try to go through boot camp & put on some combat boots & fill a few hours in a Soldiers, Sailors, Marines, Airman & Coast Guard boots.
Then see what they have to say!!!! They get to have the "freedoms" from what our fore-fathers did to fight for this country & what all our Armed Forces are facing today!! No matter what, we will always have people dying to defend our freedom. God Bless the U.S & all the Armed Forces!!!

I don't appreciate any entertainer that uses their access to a stage to promote their own political views. I don't really care what a Dixie Chick, Barbara Streisand or Brad Pitt thinks (I think if any of them got struck by a thought it would knock them out). These people produce nothing, contribute nothing and are nothing. The Dixie Chicks should stick to what they do best if they can find out what that might be - it isn't singing.

I think it's the biggest example (in country music)(i could think of others in different genres but that's another question) of shooting your career in the foot and ruining the ride. I think that Natalie one pretty much ruined it for the other two by spouting her mouth off. The only reason the other two had to back her up is so that the media didn't think there was dissent ion in the band. It's sad because I thought their music was actually kinda good but now I don't know the music is good I just can't get over the fact of what they had to say. If your a musician stick to music. Politics is not your bag.
