I gotta say, as much as I love my girlfriend, I consider my best (male) friends closer. I mean, a girlfriend is great, but guys need to spend time with other guys, and there are just some things you can tell other guys but not your girlfriend (or your wife). Agree?

yes, i agree. its the same thing with boyfriends and best (female) friends. i think the key is to try to balance it out, while letting the girlfriend still know how important she is too. as long as you don't let one relationship slip for the sake of another, you'll break even and everyone will be happy.

i am a woman.....we are usually pretty perceptive about things like that, she probably knows this and feels the same way about u, women are kind of opposite there are some things we just dont tell our girls but u feel the need to tell ur man just about everything. (some secrets go to the grave). She probably has guy friend that she can relate to and can talk about anything with and vice versa.... lets just hope for ur sake he's gay! :-)

Boyfriend. But my boyfriend is my best friend... And at the same time, I don't expect that to be the case with everyone else, and I think it's equally healthy to find other friends more important than your lover for some people.

that's a tough one,i think you need both but the girlfriend is a little more important.there are a lot of things women will never understand though,so you need the guy friends too

I disagree, my friends are cool but at the end of the day my fiance is always there waiting for me when my homies got somthing else to do my girl is always there for me I do like to chill with my friends and hang with out with the guys but its no replacement for my girlfriend she always comes first before anyone

girl...you need to run and bless you steve for thinking like a normal person me and my guy actually just split b/c he thinks i wanted to feck every guy i talked to, like my friend whom i've known for 5+ years, he is in the airforce and will be stationed in SC (but i want to feck him)...weird thing is...girls call his phone all the time, some have even asked to spend the night with him

Friends never leave, girl or boy friends do. My husband is my best friend and it is hard for me not to tell him everything but I have a best female friend who i love to death and would do anything for her. Never loose touch with your friends.
