You live in south Beirut. Your neighbor is storing and launching rockets for Hezbollah. The Israelis come and flatten your neighborhood, leaving you at best with no electricity or water.

You are a victim, no doubt about it. But who's the guilty party?
(a) Hezbollah
(b) Israel
(c) Lebanese government
(d) Syria and Iran
(e) Other

You can pick more than one, but I'd like to know why you pick the ones you do.

(I really want to say that if you're inclined to blame Bush for everything from bad breath to baldness, please skip to the next question -- unless, that is, you have legitimate reasons for throwing his name in the mix. And just so you know, I can't stress enough that I am DEFINITELY not a fan of Bush or the current administration!)

E other. You are to blame because you did nothing to stop the terrorist living next door to you. You could have done something to stop him, but you didn't, and now you suffer the consequences of your inaction.

I don't know how anyone could blame anyone for the mess over there except Hezbollah. They're the ones who have been lobbing rockets into Israel for a long time. Now they've taken some Israelis prisoner, soldiers ( not criminals ).
Of course, blame can also be put on the Lebanese for permitting Hezbollah to operate in their country. If they used their heads at all, they would know that a criminal organization like Hezbollah, if given enough leeway, will eventually take over the whole country.
Syria and Iran are not blameless because of their support of Hezbollah. They'll support anybody or anything that is anti-Israel.
All of the Muslim countries will do everything possible to eliminate Israel. Why,I don't know except maybe because Israel is free and democratic where the people think for themselves, instead of being under the heel of some mullah.

I have always sympathized with Israel but I this time they over reacted; the punishment did not fit the crime so to speak. Was it really Hezbollah or the Lebanese gov't hiding behind their black mask? I think since Lebanon has only had 10-yrs peace since the end of their civil war, they are really being careful around other key Arabic countries, especially Syria. The only thing I would say about "other", is I think Bush emboldened Israel with his bold military movement into Iraq.
