Its all about oil, power and revenge. There's no legitmate reason for it. Bush said on his first day in office that Saddam Hussein had to go because he had put out a contract on Daddy after the first Gulf War. 9/11 just gave the Crawford Clown an excuse to go into Iraq and take out Hussein. Once they get the oil flowing in 2023 and Halliburton has sucked out all the bucks they can, the war will end - unless the American people are smart and elect a Democrat for President in '08 - then it will end sooner. We have absolutely no business being there.

Iraq war is an Israeli lobby war.The Israeli government prayed for the attack on Iraq, which has eliminated the strategic threat posed by Iraq. America was pushed into the war by a group of Neo-Conservatives, almost all of them Jews, who had a huge influence on the White House. In the past, some of them had acted as advisers to Binyamin Netanyahuwww.nowarforisrael.com/

We should have never went to Iraq in the first place, we have no right to overthrow the government of a sovereign country. We went in under false pretense, there were no usable weapons of mass destruction, Saddam was contained and could do very little about it. This proved to be true as we marched right into Baghdad with very little resistance. Now they are engaged in a civil war and 50 to a 100 Iraqi people are dying everyday. 2 or 3 of our brave solders are dying every day. It does not make sense to spend good money after bad and we need to pull out as soon as possible as we are doing no good their now. The Iraqi people should have the right to choose their type of government and not one choose by George Bush.

I think it's great that they were able to overthrow Saddam but I think the war was incredibly mismanaged and has just made things worse in terms of terrorism and anti-American anger. But at the same time, we caused the mess, so we should have to clean it up. I don't think we should leave until things calm down and Iraq is able to stabilize. We should take responsibility for our mistakes.

We have spent about half a trillion dollars with a murky objective and no plan to secure the peace - what a mess. That money could have been used for building or modernizing schools, scholarships, disease research or even refunded to tax payers! It lays debt on our children and our childrens' children. It is one of the biggest US blunders ever.

The war is illegal according to both Annon and Pearle. It is immoral because lies were used to promote it.
