No cricket need not be banned during exams. It must be upto the students choice and priority. If he/she thinks cricket is improtant then watch it and leave your studies. If studies are important study leave cricket. Cricket is a profession for many and banning it is like cutting another persons income for your benifit. Its like saying ban sugar because I cant have sugar in my coffee.

Yes I agree with your concept but at the same time the students should be aware that they are studying for their life and so they should concentrate on studies.

The students cannot hold their heart against cricket and restrict their studies. So the cricket boards of each and every country should look into this regard. Sometimes this results in the loss of the student's future also. I too condemn these type of things like you.

Comming for the Indian pretext, many matches of India are held during the Exams which causes many students to see the TV and which results in bad results. In a country like India, more students are interested in cricket so this act should be reduced and the matches shouldn't be played during or just before examinations.

Lastly I want to say that the board also have many problems and the schedule should be decided after considering many issues like the other team's schedule and many other things. So this is also some type of mistake by students besides the major mistake of the board.

Hope you understood this.

What's all this fuss about? We had the 1996 World Cup held in the Indian subcontinent during February and March - when the 10th & +2 exams were going on. Nobody was bothered at that time, why now all this fuss?

It probably won't be banned, because the students are the major source of revenue for cricket. By imposing ban, the world cup itself could be cancelled resulting in big losses for the business sponsors!

No study is more important than Cricket. I dont think it should. And its their game, you can watch it again, but on your report card never be changed.
