whats the point if it has no benefit, u just cover ur nails with designs and color, thats all, no benefit, accept to make ur nails pretty, well ur nails are still pretty without nail-polish ? why do people wear it then?
by the way i saw a GUY, A MAN wearing BLACK nail-polish, yuck!

Have you never seen a guy wearing nail polish?? A friend of mine used to paint her boyfriend's nails black...anyway, I think you just answered your own question, it's fun and colorful and here's one you didn't mention: if your nails are painted, nobody can see the dirt that collects under there!

I think it's supposed to make your nails stronger. I think it looks nice and it makes your whole appearance look finished.

It is just a purely cosmetic reason....painted nails are way of adorning ourselves, and people have been decorating their bodies since the beginning of time. Why do people wear lipstick, or eyeshadow, or wear jewellery, or tattoo and pierce their bodies?
