am looking for doctorate degree in English or TEFL based on my previous learning - masters, and work experience of teaching in various universities. need names/websites of recognized/reputed universities granting credible degrees that will be honoured.

I don't think that's going to happen. You need to at least produce a dissertation if you're expecting to get a degree from any real university. There are lots of 'non-accredited universities' (non-accredited meaning that they are not recognized by the AUCC in Canada or its equivalent in any other country). A degree from these is worth about as much as a piece of paper you print off your computer by yourself. I'm afraid if you want a doctorate, you're going to have to put in the work and earn it, regardless of the previous work you have done.
