do you belive that some people are a natural , when it come to good vocals? does going to a voice coach actually work? when i started singing, i was terrible, but its been awhile, and my voice has started to "smooth out". i belive there is no need for voice coaches, just as long as you practice everyday, by just singing any kind of music that you like. does anybody else agree?
im into pop-punk, rock anything that involves guitars, and a hardcore drum solo.

Yes, everyone has a different voice.

Practicing every day is a good thing. But does your voice ever "give out" or get hoarse if you have sung too much or yelled too loud?

Voice teachers can help you learn good technique that can save your voice in the long run. They can also teach you how to produce a more controlled sound, so that you are choosing how to produce your notes. Opera, church, rock and pop all require very different types of notes in most cases. Plus there's vibrato, tone, color, etc.

So, if you are planning to make music a career, at least consult with a voice coach for a few lessons. In this way you will probably be able to keep your voice longer than if you hadn't. At least you will be more in control of it.

yes everyone has a different voice when it comes to singing, some have it naturally and well some of us just have to practice and work at it, its best to pick out songs that best fit your voice, and if you see something new that you like well try it out and keep on practicing, not everyone need a voice coach. but they can teach you on how to save your voice. i never had one but i do practice alot on songs that i wanna sing, im into christian rock, gospel, and country so i do a lot of different stuff i may not be the best at verything i do but at least i try. practice practice practice. i have gotten better over the years, now im tryin to write my own music and have a plan on starting a band

Yeah some peopel can just sing. Some [people can be taught how to breathe right while they are singing. Some people just plains uck and their voice isnt a singing voice.

However What may suck for singing church songs and boy bands coudl make a good punk voice. But I dont think you could teach someone who is horrible how to carry a pitch and make it sound good.
