Why does the Western World Spread hate and lies about Muslims or Islam?

9/11, 7/7 and other events around the world raise so many doubts and questions as to what really happened and what was spoon fed to us by our goverments and the puppet media. Why are we allowing our goverments to get away with murder and lies? We read and watch orchestrated news and ignore the many horrors and atrocities that our soldiers and governments commit on foreign soil! thousands of people are dieing around the world due to our policies and these people do not even get a mention or are their lives unworthy of such mention?

Double standards? racism? call it what you wish. It's high time we as the voters, place full responsibility on our governments and leaders. The government was elected by the people, the people have a say and it is the people who should be feared and not the other way round.

eg. Israel is destroying lebanon and this has confirmed to us Muslims and peace lovers around the world how your goverments USA/ISRAEL regard a muslim or arabs life. They are being slaughtered by robots, no human could do such a thing to other humans. No wonder terrorists, do not kneel but die standing and it this this racist act of israel which will only increase and fill hate into the hearts of the 1.4 billion Muslims.

I guess you will ignore the above, and you will never appreciate what it is to love another human being and you will base your so called FACTS on the twisted lies you hear and pay credit to.

I agree with you. The thing is, people would rather blame (whatever's happening in the world) on people who have different customs; traditions and values then they do. The ignorance (about Islam) that the surrounds the world is caused by journalists not getting the facts right or the country that doesn't want people to be taught the TRUE meaning of Islam. I have read here (also heard on TV) that many people who were Muslims converted to Christianity or other religions, but what the media neglects to say is that HUNDREDS of non-Muslims have been beginning to take Islam as their religion.

Well apparently your Mom or Dad or brothers or sisters were not killed or had their throat slit by a band of Terrorists on 9-11 because I assure you your outlook would be different if that were the case.
As far as spreading anything either Negative or otherwise people are entitled to there opinion and U.S. News channels are not the only ones people watch so as long as you are going to blame someone try the world with this blanket you are trying to cast over the West.
If you fear the Government those are your fears. I have faith in the American government because it is comprised of American citizens and some are actually intelligent.

I totally have no problems at all if people have other religions than me. It's just that those terrorists are all muslims, and because of the events these recent years, most (or many) people accuse the religion of being terrorist and evil. If you ask me, I don't care what all individual religion teach people, but it's just the fact that the PEOPLE doing this are psychos; despite in which god they believe. I'm a christian; and as every religious people I don't like the doing of other religions. So to be honest, I really don't like all religions except mine. But what I've written above, is what you may call my second opinion. If you want to hear the real truth... I won't be here for long anymore.

Who's the ones who know the majority are their rounds are more likely to cause civilians to die then combatants? Is that a lie? Who's governments have allowed terrorists to control the what happens in their country?

I have nothing against Islam. In fact I don't even know enough about it to really tell you what I don't agree with.

And I don't have anything against muslims in general. What muslins I do have a problem with are those who are allowing extremeists to hijack their religion and use it to condone hatred and violence and really do nothing about it. IF my soldiers were setting off bombs in market places in the name of GOD I'd be getting mad as hell.

You want to talk atrocities lets add them up and see what has been done to those who did them. When is the last time Al Jazerra posted anything about those people who had beheaded some being brought to trial.

The people I fear are those who swallow elephants whole then choke on gnats!

Perhaps a better question is why don't more Muslims speak out against the minority of their group who are causing bloodshed around the world? The majority of Muslims are good people. Yet their Imams are mostly silent about the bloodshed. I think people could get a better grasp of Islam if the Imams would loudly denounce the fundamentalist Muslim terrorists. What are they so afraid of?

Because they are scared of all the irrationality spread by people that call themselves Muslim. And what do you mean by lies. Are you claiming Muslims are not on total killing sprees against everybody (including other muslims)?
You are just all painted with the same brush, even though you personally may be totally innocent of anything bad going on, and may even disagree with it.
But being in the club, you better become a voice that dissents with what's going on. Even though your wonderful co Muslims will probably try to kill you for it.
