My sister conceived after two years of trying.

Two friends of mine who had been trying for three years conceived a week after 9/11.

Many baby stories on the Discovery Channel highlight couples who had adopted and years later, conceived a child when they thought there was no hope.

It's possible. If you're under 35, the one-year mark is often considered to be an appropriate time to see a doctor to screen for male/female reproductive issues.

Best of luck to you.

I got pregnant after 4 years of trying. I was a little over weight, had about 20 pounds to lose. As soon as I lost 10 lbs I found out I was pregnant.

Same with the second 1 1/2 yrs of trying- went on diet, got pregnant.

Good luck

Yes, many women have gotten pregnant after two, three, or more years. Also, I have heard that if you have been on BC pills
for some time (I don't remember how long) that sometimes it takes a year for your body to be able to get pregnant again.

If you have tried for a year, why not ask your doctor about this?
There are tests that can be done on you and your husband to see if there is some kind of problem and how to fix it.

Don't give up hope. My aunt and uncle tried for at least 3 years.
and and now have 4 children. My best friend and his wife tried for at least 3 years. They decided to adopt and 1 or 2 years after the adoption his wife got pregnant so that they now have 2 sons.

God bless you. Don't forget to ask God that you get pregnant.
He loves you and for some reason (in His infinite wisdom) it
helps if we ask Him.

I have a friend who has been trying to get pregnant for over 2 years. Still no luck. I think they need to go see a Dr. to find out what the problem is. But I feel uncomfortable telling them that!

Many! Often I've seen people trying too much. You've got to let go! Stress doesn't help getting pregnant. Best proof is all those women who though they couldn't conceived, adopted and got pregnant while getting there adopted child or soon after. There are so many babies conceived easily during holidays or vacations! Relax and enjoy yourself! Let your man enjoy himself and make sure he gives your part after ;-)
