(the thing is what I notice is that they are totally the opposite. And i can see that they clearly have differences. The thing is, they are both have professional, and in addition very powerful women. However, I dont' understand my gf sometimes and i thought her sister would have know something i don't and will benefit me dealing with her in the long run. I love her and i want to work it to work out between us. So if i ask her sister she might just tell me how to deal with her in a positive way.

Definitely... who knows your girlfriend better than her own sister?
Be sure you aren't going behind your girlfriends back to do it though... the wrong thing may be said, and she may feel betrayed by two people that she cares about. That could hurt her deeply. Make sure you talk to your girlfriend about everything her sister says. I'm sure she would like to be part of any conversation involving her.

I got advice from my ex's younger sister and I should have listened to her because I probably would never have gotten as hurt as I did when things ended. She told me she had a history of guys falling for her and then suddenly getting wierd and breaking it off. Well she was right.
Listen to the advice, but still make your own decisions. I think it is important to know there relationship and whether the advice is from an honest source, or whether it is a little jaded because they have a bad relationship.
Ultimately, no matter the advice anyone gives you, you have to make your own choices. Good luck. peace

Absolutely! she might know her best and her advice might help you out in the long run. Just make sure that's all your getting from her.

I'd say yes normally, but your girlfriend might find it an invasion of her privacy. it's best you communicate very clearly to your girlfriend before you consult her sister, to make sure you have all your bases covered.

i dont think it is such a good idea coz if ur gf's sister ends up telling(which is very likely to happen) ur gf that u were asking for advice about her she might get hurt.
