I feel like starting to work from home as a retired employee to pass my spare time and have extra income. A Placement firm provided me some links to start with. Although the Placement Firm is a reputed one, but yet I want to have expert opinion from you people on the following links, which he provided with some brief intro about them. SO, PLEASE ADVISE ME, which of these programs seem to be OK and do not fall within the category of scam. These are as follows:

Most of the links that you supplied are "referrals" links, I find it hard to believe that a reputable placement agency would give you links that if you click on it would put you on the employees of the placement agencies "down line"...In other words if you do join and make some money, he would receive a percentage...I would report this guy to his/her higher up

I am not familar with any of those programs but most make there opportunities seem like "easy" money. Of course, it never is and you end up spending good money trying to solicit the same business that everyone else is doing. Most of your energy, time and expense will be "advertising" those programs to generate traffic to a website before you create one dime.

If you are going to be doing any of that, I would suggest just going to ebay and begin selling that way. Start with any unused items around your house and test the waters.

If you go onto ebay and search the "want it now" section, you can get a feel for what people are looking for and maybe not finding on ebay. The options are endless but you really need to understand what items are selling and for how much. Then you look around your area, at garage or yard sales, flea markets, goodwill stores and start listing. If you are really ambitious, start buying vehicles and such and reselling them on ebay. There is lots of money to be made but you need to understand what your are being charged for the services. There are plenty of books on ebay that are available to learn the system.

For the perfect "home" business, I am personally partial to the real estate business which is what I do. I have learned most of techniques at the library and online. My biggest hurdle was getting on the phone the first couple of times and being confident enough not to sound ridiculous. Once I did my first transaction, it has become easier and easier. It is a great way to spend your time and can make serious money on just one transaction.
