BUSH said those statement with Hizbollah representing a small minority within the parliament of Lebanon as it does today ....

Lebanon is a Christian, Sunni, & Shi'ite country people act like it is all Muslim when in fact it is not...

Also Israel is a theocracy with an end court made up of religious leaders and laws based on the Torah ... just try to testify against a man in court if you are a woman ... it is illegal

Israel does like Lebanon, not Hezbollah.

You people need to learn how to LISTEN. The fight is not with Lebanon but with Hezbollah. The Hezbollah are a terror group that has received support from terrorist supporting nations such as Syria and Iran. Unfortunately, the Hezbollah are actually more powerful than the Lebanese armed forces.

Please try to be informed before you snap to judgements... this is not helpful to anyone when you listen to 2 minutes of a 10 minute story... then sling words and quotes around like you know what you are talking about!

Hmm... modern history ring any bells? because did not they only attempt this many years in the past? besides, i'm somewhat cynical even as the only source quoted source for the variety and numbers of those 'lengthy variety' missiles (as a results of the indisputable fact that isn't any longer lengthy variety, it is medium) is an IDF Brigadier established. that is in his activity to develop the probability. That way even as Hezbollah lob missiles into Israel (which they positively will) he's already customary the mandate for rolling each of how as a lot as Beirut. And curiously they could might want to invade through UN instruments; i ask your self how that could bypass down with Israel's wide-spread allies?

Most of Lebanon support Hezbollah...most being the key word. Israel isn't known for being a saint country...but kidnapping and random killing isn't justified by that. Hezbollah has been anti-Israeli since day 1, and being as most of Lebanon support Hezbollah...now more than ever due to them feeling they are being punished and victimized because of Hezbollah, Lebanon is no friend of Israel. That's the plain and simple of it.

Lebanon is not under fire,Hezbollah is. It just happens to be in lebanon.

"Hezbollah must redeploy north of the Litani River. It must surrender its rocket arsenal to the Lebanese army, which must take up positions along the border with Israel," Justice Minister Haim Ramon told Israeli television.

"If these conditions are met, Israel will agree to a ceasefire," the minister said.

So lebanon are not the target.

Back yourself up with sources.
Israel is more liberal than the U.S., and is as a real a democracy as it gets.
Any comparison between Israel and Iran is laughable:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Israel
"The State of Israel (Hebrew: מְדִינַת יִשְׂרָאֵל (help·info); Medinat Yisra'el; Arabic: دَوْلَةْ إِسْرَائِيل‎, Dawlat Isrā'īl) is a country in Western Asia on the southeastern edge of the Mediterranean Sea. It is a parliamentary democracy and the world's only Jewish state."

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Politics_of_Iran
"Politics of Iran takes place in the framework of an Islamic theocratic republic. The December 1979 constitution, and its 1989 amendment, define the political, economic, and social order of the Islamic Republic of Iran. It declares that Shi'a Islam of the Twelver (Jaafari) sect is Iran's official religion."

Quite a difference, huh?

Edit: What the hell? Women have equal rights and always had since Israel got its independence in 1948. Read the wikipedia artilce before you jump to conclusions.

In a better world Lebanon and Israel would be allies. Lebanon would be the Christian country it was meant to be (not overrun by Islamic madmen), and Israel a Jewish country.

Both would have common interest in sustaining and defending themselves as the only non-Muslim countries in the region.

One Lebanese woman's perspective:

Israel is not a quasi-democracy

Just because a country is a "Lebanon is beacon of Freedom in the Middle East" doesn't mean that radicals can't get elected and cause problems.
