NEVER use sex as a bargaining chip. When you do that, sex itself will become a chore for you instead of something you WANT to do. Instead, draw up a list of household chores. Both of you can go back and forth picking out which tasks each would prefer. Stick with what you've each chosen to keep lthings fair.

Stop doing it untill he does.
Unfortunatly Its the only way you can deal with imature arseholes. If he doesn't do it and the place gets in a state just start ignorong him and go to a male freinds. Leave him a note or a text saying you ain't coming back till he does it.
DO NOT BRIBE HIM WITH SEX HE DOESN'T DESERVE IT.
Threaten to leave him. If he changes good but leave him for a while anyway and then come back. if he doesn't chage just leave him.
If you are with a man like this you absolutly must be one hundered percent consistent with following through on threats otherwise he will talk you round and walk all over you forever! Seriously sort the problem now! it will be less traumatic in the long run.

Be Thankful that you are only having a trash dilema.Take it out yourself.Life is wayyyy too short to be stressed over anything so petty.The more your hubby thinks it bothers you,obviously he will continue the power struggle.Try your best to act like it's no longer a big deal.Let it pile up & put the bags by the door or take it out yourself.
Many women are widowed & would beg for the opportunity to argue over who's going to put out the trash.I use to bother w/ petty stuff too.I realized long ago,that it just stresses me out & he just loves that power.You actually win the battle by not battling.Try it...Best of Luck!

DON'T NAG HIM.
Go out and read Dr. Laura's "The Proper Care and Feeding of Husbands." It's NOT what you think it is about. It will not just help your marriage, it will make it better, save it, and make you a VERY HAPPY WIFE.
OR
You could just nag him, and end up cheated on and/or divorced- and most certainly...miserable.

Provide a bedroom incentive for each chore he does without having to be told! Make it fun and he'll be doing all the chores around the house in no time!

see what other tasks he IS willing to do around the house and make a fair trade.
Mine will never put away his laundry, so instead he cooks, I do laundry, and I am ok with it. Much better than nagging him all the time to do something he doens't want to do!

simple, refuse to cook dinner til the trash is taken out of the house. reason with him, if your doing your share, he should be doing his. a marriage is a partnership, in all matters!

Comprimise honey. Do you cook and clean every night? Probably not. Decide which chores each of you want to be responsible for.

I just take it out myself so that hubby doesn't have to. really, it only takes a sec. and usually he will then try to grab it from me and take it himself, but it's not a big deal. just take on that task yourself and no more worries. if he wont by now, you are probably wasting your breath anyway.
