No, it's never wrong to take birth control pills. Uh, that is the point, you take them so that you don't get pregnant. Actually it is one of the smartest and right things you can ever do when sexually active, and too young for a child. Since you asked this question I can tell your pretty young, Get on birth control, then when your ready to have children, like in 5-10 yrs, Get off of "the pill". Good luck little mama!

That's the general idea of birth control...to not get pregnant. However, they can be useful for regulating your period as well. Taking birth control pill is a personal choice.

I do not know why you would ask such a question. Birth control keeps you from getting preg. That is one reason why you would take them. There are other reasons for taking birth control beside preventing preg. 1. I don't remember the medical name for it, but if blood collects in the wrong place besides the vagina, like in the tubes, or outside the womb, or in the brain then birth control can help.
Also they help if you have irregular periods.
There is no wrongness to taking birth control, you'er just being responsible for your own reproduction and deciding when you want to get preg..

What exactly are you asking? Birth control pills prevent pregnancy (although can only be 94-97% effective)--so you'd take them if you planned on having sex and DIDN'T want to get pregnant....
Having been pregnant before (or NOT pregnant "before) is no prerequisite for taking birth control pills NOW.
OR are you asking us if it is MORALLY wrong for you to take them---well honey, you need to look into your own heart for that answer.
And don't just have sex "to have sex" and if he's telling you everyone is doing it, or he wont love you if you don't, then he's a lying perv!

No reason not to take them - they're certainly not just for women who have been pregnant. Quite the opposite! You need to discuss your health situation with a doctor before getting a prescription to make sure you don't have any other conditions that would prohibit your using them, but generally birth control pills safe and effective for most women.

Its not a question of "right or wrong". Birth control pills have an inherent risk to your health. Increased chance of blood clots, weight gain, bloating, and other issues. Talk to your Doctor about the issues.
