It was almost expected , Egypt in last decade had a serius problem
with islamic militants who are trying to overtrow Sadats power, there were atentats, killing of turist with purpose to stop influx of money from turism ...
I would make a distinction between movement that is politicaly fighting for more democracy in Egypt and the islamic movement which only purpose is islamic rule in Egypt.
So logicaly thinking destruction of terorist power base in neighbourhood,( who are in connection to smugling channels in Egypt which are used for smugling arms to Palestinians and perhaps some ties with Sudan islamics and who are disrupting the legal goverment of Egypt in its everyday dealings specialy attacking major source of income like tourism.) is a good thing for Egypt. If it is successyfull done there will be a moment to seize a iniciative in the struggle against islamic movement, and by cracking them there should perhaps finaly be chance for Egypt movement for democracy to do some political movements that would be allowed from Sadat govement under some pressure of the west which is the main provider of tourists.
I would not agree that Iran is ready to deal reasonably with Israel, I would say that now it is the main game player on the scene who has perhaps incited some courage into Hezballah with some weapons shipments , and perhaps some money and political wishes.
Iran could show its peace oriented politics in perhaps getting sheet people in Lebanon to organize in a new political organization with has no terorist involvment and witch could be a very progresive organization with only purpose of prosperity of all Lebanon citizens. But such moves have not been seen, so who else could be condemning Hezballah. Perhaps we could say who will not condemn them Syria , Iran,Sudan, Somaly militants, pashtuu mujahedeens from Afganistan and Pakistan, some imams in Saudi Arabia if they are no speddely silances from the state. The rest has to stron ties with USA, and publicly they will do nothing, privatly perhaps they also thanking God that this will perhaps silence their local islamic militants who are more and more willful in change of regimes in middle east toward islamic goverments with islamic law and purely antiwestern or anti nonislamic atitude.

I don't think Egypt's condemnation means they're willing to deal reasonably with Israel and live in peace with them. Egypt and the other Middle Eastern countries are afraid of two things. One, they're afraid of Israel kicking their butt. Two, they are now even more afraid of Hezbollah, which is getting more and more powerful and is being backed with lots of money and weapons by Iran (the third thing Middle East countries fear).

I believe there were supportive statements from the Arab League, and seperately, from Egypt, Jordan and Saudi Arabia.

Condemning the actions of Hizbollah is a far cry from supporting Israel or its actions. Killing innocent persons is the same no matter who is doing the killing and no matter who is being killed.

what you want too concern approximately is whilst a guy from europe comes and says he will make peace with isreal for a era of 7 years.... with the aid of the time that occurs many 1000's of human beings have been have vanished in a blink of a watch and while you're left in the back of then God help you!...Cus you would be stress too the two settle for him because of the fact the ruler of the hot international order or die!... yet once you do settle for him as ruler of the hot international order you will face loss of life two times... as quickly as once you die in existence and back once you're judged and sent too hell....all who settle for the mark of the ruler of the hot international order will!
