I'm looking to know when the tickets actually go on sale. Also, is it easy to buy them or do you have to end up getting them through a broker or ebay? And if so, what are the prices for the broker or ebay? I'm thinking of saving up money, I just want to know how much. Thanks!

Actually, all of the teams in contention around the third week of September will be offering playoff/world series packages to their season ticket holders. My employer bought the whole package on their season tickets. The cost of the unused ALCS and World Series series was available as a credit for the 2006 tickets. Individual tickets are placed on sale toward the end of September. Different teams have different rules for buying tickets. Some teams like Yankees, Red Sox and Angels sell out immediately. Others like the Braves often don't sell out in the first round. The individual world series tickets probably are sold before the playoffs start as part of the playoff package. Check your team's web site as September approaches.
