an upset stomach could mean either:
-malnutrition, your wife should be drinking a lot of milk and easy food such as mashed potato, porridge, oats, couscous. No alcohol or kard meat (chicken should be fine)
-The baby could not happy with it's treatment (no joke), maybe your wife has been doing some strenuous activities, if yes, stop her.
- possible labor is coming

Yes, I thought I had eaten some bad food with my first son. However, I was in labor. I had went to the hospital the day before and I was in labor but they sent me home. I returned they next evening to have a baby boy. Call the Dr or just go the ER.

It can be a sign of pre-labor. If you are concerned and it doesn't go away after a few hours call your obgyn. I'm 38wks and having the same problem. They told me to stay off my feet and drink plenty of fluids. There is no sure way to stop it from being uncomfortable but it's the best I have for you. Good luck.

Is she vomiting, have a fever, any pain or just a "sick" stomach; check for fever 1st; the baby may just be moving around a lot and causing her discomfort; but, call your doctor and ask ! I was 1 month early in giving birth; just rolled over in bed 1 nt, water broke, and was having a C section within 2 hours...

it can be a sign.
also she may be able to feel the baby drop, turn or i've been told that if the baby stops moving a lot, then that is a sign of imminent delivery.
take care and you're almost there!!!! good luck!

Labor symptoms can vary from woman to woman. You should definitely call the OB taking care of her. Congratulations!

Not really but it could. It may be the heat or something she ate. She could also be dehydrated
