How do you delete folders in your mail column that you don't need anymore?

Delete a Folder in Yahoo! Mail

To delete a custom folder in Yahoo! Mail:

* Make sure the folder you want to delete does not contain any messages.
o Move or delete remaining emails.
* Click on the down arrow of the Mail tab in Yahoo! Mail.
* Select Folders from the drop-down menu.
o Alternatively, hit Ctrl-Shift-F.
* Click Delete next to the folder you want to delete.
o The Inbox, Draft, Sent, Bulk and Trash folders cannot be deleted.

When you go into your mail, there is a small blue link at the top of your column that lists the folders called "edit". Click on this link and it will open a menu where it gives you options to manage your folders. The only folders that you can delete are the ones you created. It lists an option beside each folder.

click on the folder, delete each and every ingredient contained in the folder. once each and every ingredient is deleted. top click on the folder, click on delete. do not ignore to empty the trash even as your finished.
