I was watching Midnight Cowboy and I noticed that the years really haven't been kind to it. Great flick, but it just hasn't aged well.

Also, anyone who says Citizen Kane is a moron. That movie could've been made last year andwould still feel fresh.

As much as I love watching it, "Gone With the Wind" just looks ridiculous now. If actors performed that way nowadays, they couldn't get work on a soap opera. There's no subtlety present at all in the film. The whole thing is just extremely melodramatic to the point of being really funny.

Saturday Night Fever...the story is still good but it just doesnt "move me" anymore
Boogie Nights...somehow its just ridiculous now..
(I know these are old but not classics(1960 or older) but I love classic movies no matter what)
Aliens....somehow Hollywood outranked those special effects now
The Invisible Man...kinda corny & boring

I thought classic, meant pretty much timeless. I didn't think midnight cowboy was one of those.

the graduate has gone from edgy to corny over the years, and yes it is a classic.
