Taking care of your family means spending quality time with them, listening, caring, and loving. However, it also means:
Healthy food, a warm, dry house, clothing, educational opporunities, health care, dental care, planning for old age...
...and all those things take money.
If you don't go after SOME money, you can't look after your family or your health. The trick is to know when enough is enough.

money is the root of all evil. nowadays we as people have no morals and values. taking care of one's family and own health should come first. too much tv i guess. wanting the most, the best, the biggest is ridiculous. maybe competing with others is a factor.

People are inherently selfish and out for themselves. Despite their responsibilities to others and even their health, money is a game to many people. People would rather be rich than happy. I think it's sad. I'd rather just be financially comfortable and happy.

Because they're selfish; they ruin their health to recieve money, then spend money to restore health. For me, I think that the working is good, but it's who you come home to at the end of the day.

Money is the root of all evil. Without money, things like you've mentioned would not happen. I detest money.
