I used to drive cars for years, Now i have a truck. Love it. makes me feel safer. But each person has their own prference. I also have a sports car that i will drive soon and love that, as it is fast and cool

Cars. Better gas mileage and maneuverability.
If you only have occasionaly hauling needs, rent a truck when needed.
