To have clearly-defined abs you need two things:
1 - low percentage body fat
2 - well-developed abdominal muscles
The first one takes discipline, but isn't that hard. Just keep your body fat down so that fat isn't hiding your abs!
The second one is a bit more challenging for a vegetarian, and doubly-so at your age. Your body may not yet be ready to add muscle readily and may never do so easily. That said...
Exercise your abs by doing abdominal crunches. Don't do "sit-ups" as those can cause back problems. Crunches are safer AND more effective. Crunches come is a range of types to focus on different parts of those muscles:

Instructions for "generic" crunches with pictures are available here:

Now, you also face a potential problem because you are vegetarian. Production of muscle tissue (which is what you're going for!) REQUIRES protein. You need to make sure you get enough protein from a variety of sources. If you don't get the various forms of protein required you won't have the building blocks your body needs in order to assemble more muscle! If you include dairy products you can eliminate this problem pretty easily. Toss in a hard-boiled egg or two each day and you'll do fine. If you are vegan and want to add muscle, you need to look up "protein complimentarity" for additional information.
Finally, your results WILL vary. I'm a fitness geek and tend towards the "8-pack" that someone else mentioned. Your physique will be unique to you. Also, just get overall fit. Girls like a good set of abs as PART of the overall package -- and the overall package is MUCH more than your physique, much less just your abs!
Good luck with the girl!

You may never be able to. Not all people can. It depends on your muscle shape and build. You can flatten your stomache, but that may be all it will do. Everyone is different. Even some who have six-pacs will look slightly different than someone else who also has one. I have even seen 8 or 10 pacs on some.
You also need very low percentage for body fat. Most men carry it in their mid-sections so you may in fact have a six-pac but you have just enough bodt fat to fill in the depressions.
You also may still be too young to fully develop them. Everyone developes at a different rate. Keep a healthy lifestyle and find some other forms of protein so you can build the muscle.
Lastly, don't worry too much about appearance, You can still "look" healthy without all the muscle and such. And stay away from the girls who only judge you on appearance. They will never be worth it in the long run. Someone that accepts you the way you are should be the one that gets to enjoy your new "hot bod" once you get to that point.

You first need to drop those broads if they are that shallow. You are still in high school and soon all that crap won't matter. Total body exercise is needed. Low body fat is the key. Being a vegetarian doesn't matter. If you eat a balanced diet, you will be OK, so talk to a Registered dietician (not a nutritionist, anyone can call themselves a nutritionist). There are tons of ab workouts, my favorites are on a swiss ball. A good piece of advice is to use your abs in other exercises, clich those puppies when you are doing other lifts to help stabilize your body an work your abs also. Just google ab workouts and you will be overrun with info.
Do what works for you, be consistent, and work out like you mean it. Don't just go to the gym and dick around for an hour.
Good luck

As for the 4 or 6 %., that is fullyyt genetics. The strains that create the dep. interior the abs are surely from connective tissue interior the muscle. some people have an 8 %., others may only get 4 nicely-defined. foodstuff plan is extra major than the workout for most adult adult males, and that i'd say that 12% remains going to be too severe for a tremendous kind of adult adult males to get a 6 %. for the reason that adult adult males will be predisposed to have their fat deliver mutually interior the tummy and waist first, and may be the only accurate to bypass away too.

Before you get started on your belly-fat-busting journey, it's important to know that flat abs (six-packs, washboards, etc.) are something the majority of us will never see. Flat abs don't come from ab exercises, they come from a low body fat percentage and how and where you store fat as well as your body type, gender, age and genetic makeup are all factors that determine your ability to get flat abs.
Maybe some eat some high in protian maybe like....
Flax seeds
Walnuts
Soybeans
Tofu
Pumpkin seeds
But remember if you do it for yourself instead of some pimp girl then you can achive this goal.. well atleast a flat stomach..

100 sit ups in the morning and 100 at night but it will be much more effective if you ate some meat so you can get your protien because that helps your muscles to build faster
