I use pure tea tree essential oil on insect bites, it helps to decreasing the inflammatory process which is the cause of the redness, swelling and itching. I sell it on my website and use it all the time, especially now with all the bug bites. Also helpful to keep mosquitoes away as a natural remedy is lemongrass oil, I dilute it a bit in a small water bottle and spray it on my cat and dog. Hope this helps.
