Is the Libertine THAT bad?

I mean cummon, the reviews make it sound like it's pornography dressed up in elaborate costumes and Shakespearean monologues. I bought this DVD on ebay and I can't wait to get it so I can watch it.....I hope this movie's worth buying. What did you think of the movie?

I enjoyed the movie. The plot is somewhat lacking, but there are many memorable performances in it. In regards to pornography in elaborate costumes, I thought the movie was rather tame in that area.

it's that bad, but true.johnny depp was awesome, the movie is worth owning just for his performance
