Me and three other people are trying to research the ever so popular myspace I have my own and know how to work it but we need information that we could put in a biblography for the paper. The items have to be conterversal and we have to have it by thursday but does anyone know where I could get information about it besides Myspace itself? Like I need newspaper articles and internet articles. Any Ideas? By the way we can't access Myspace at the school.

danah boyd has does a lot of research in this area. Search Yahoo for myspace+boyd to find relevant links: http://search.yahoo.com/search?p=myspace%2Bboyd

You can also read the Wikipedia article about MySpace: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MySpace - see the references given at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Myspace#References for more information.

Write to Tom...he is the the one that is the first "friend" when you sign up. That would be the easiest way to get information about Myspace and how he started it or how he came to controling it.

The Richmond Times-Dispatch did an article on Myspace
www.timesdispatch.com you would probably have to look through archived files

My cheering coach decided to go through all of our myspaces, and i personally dont think there is anything wrong with it as long as you are not posting naked and trashy pics, that is when little girls seem to get themselves into trouble!

I'm going to try to respond without correcting your (though few) spelling and grammatical errors.. I'm not trying to be cruel, but if you're going to be writing a paper, proofread it first please. Anyway... if you're looking for information, don't post the question of WHERE. Just ask people on here! I'm sure that loads of people using this site would love to give you insights and stories that you could put into a paper. :-)
