Actually, OJ was declared not guilty by a relevant criminal court of law. So legally, he didn't do anything.
For the sake of speculation, if OJ did it, he probably hired hit men and then went to the scene to see if they actually did it.

I think he did it himself because he was at her apartment that night. What I never understood, though, was how could he have committed such a gruesome crime knowing his kids were in the apartment and could come out at any time. And now, he just flaunts himself around everywhere.
