Can you tell me why my 2003 Envoy XL air conditioner blows out hot air.?

I took my car in 2 weeks ago and it started working correctly. Now it is blowing hot air again. The mechanic wants to charge another 200.00 for a modular.

There are several possibilities. If the original problem was related to leaks and Freon, the controls, (module) would be a separate problem. If the system leaked from another place it's hard to say after the fact if the guy should have anticipated this. Is the technician willing to credit you for any of the previous work? If not get a second opinion.
