Star Wars Trilogy (first 3 movies filmed, middle 3 in the series) and Alien & Aliens (but not the other 2), and Matrix (but not the 2 sequels), and Terminator and T2 (but not T3) are the best.
But the best "B" sci-fi movie has to be Night of the Lepus. Early 70s movie about the attack of giant bunnies.
Another "B" sci-fi movie that was great starred William Shatner in a town devoured by spiders. It was called Kingdom of the Spiders and was from the mid-70s.

I'm a big fan of MST3K... I like the old ones, where the villians looked like vegetables - I remember one with a giant alien carrot.
A couple of my favorites are yes, The Thing, also The Day the Earth Stood Still. But I have to say my hands down favorite is Godzilla vs Mecha-Godzilla... I had tears running down my face, I laughed so hard at that!
(Thanks for the email)

Oh my goodness, that's like asking which one of your kids you like the best. There are so many good ones and how do you decide between the classics and the modern ones? If I had to absolutely pick one, I would say the first Star Wars that was screened. I don't think anyone has ever been able to show such realistic ships in space as they did in that movie.

person-friendly ... Guyver. It starred Mark Hamil yet he died interior the 1st 10 or 15 minutes of the action picture. the 2nd worst Sci Fi action picture that i've got ever seen is one which you assert you enjoyed ... the 2005 version of "conflict of The Worlds". "conflict of the Worlds the subsequent wave" replace into genuinely horrid such as you assert. the challenge with "conflict of the Worlds" is that in case you somewhat look on the final tale line for the action picture there somewhat isn't one. This tale replace into genuinely terrifying in its "Radio Drama" form yet on the demonstrate screen there wasn't plenty tale to tell ... a minimum of IMHO. could The stress Be With You ... .

Blade Runner, very original, amazing special effects for the time and more depth than the average sci fi movie these days

The original Star Wars trilogy, definitely. I also really like Starship Troopers, think I'll watch it again.
