Bless your heart!!! I bet you also lost every bit of that weight the last time you had a baby.
You know that being big right now comes with the territory. When people see you they don't think, "OMG, what a cow! Go on a diet!!" They are saying "AHHH, what a cute belly!"
In a few weeks you'll have the reason for that belly, and you won't even care anymore that at one time you were big. Just take care of yourself and everything will be fine.

To make sure you and the baby are doing well, take all the recommended vitamins, drink plenty of water (you have to know the amniotic fluids flush every few hours, right?) and make sure to do some regular exercises, like walking or swimming. Each pregnancy will be different. Your eating habits may have changed with this one, too. If you already have a child in the house, how different is that on your eating habits than before you had the first one and were only preparing for adults? Make sure you are eating 5 smaller meals, rather than 3 large ones, it cuts out the need to nibble empty calories. Make sure you have grapes or apples, or any other high fiber fruits at hand to cut the craving. If the "snack" you choose doesn't fit into the palm of your hand, then it is too big a portion. Eat Oat bran cereal. All around, take care of yourself, and regardless of the actual size you end up, you will feel better. After my first pregnancy, the second not only made me much more ungainly, I was also better able to go through the labor and delivery. Sort of a trade off. Best wishes!

Well, I just made 37 weeks, and I feel like a blimp also, but I guess I just had to give up any ideas of looking like a super model at this time. Anyway, what matters is the baby is healthy. After the baby is born, then you can think about weight issues. Right now, just eat right for you and your baby, and try to go for walks, and do any exercise that is safe during pregnancy. For now, just think about being healthy and delivering a healthy baby.

I had my first baby about three weeks ago (a baby boy). I was in pretty decent shape prior to getting pregnant and by the end of my 3rd trimester, I cried all the time, worried about my weight. I had gained more than 50lbs. Three days after giving birth, I had lost 30lbs, believe it or not. Each day that goes by, I lose some more weight. Just try to put your feet up and relax, and know that your baby weight WILL come off. I know its discouraging now, but luckily too its summertime and you can get out and about with your newborn. Something which is good for you and he. Good luck, and congratulations!

Go get a massage or a chiropractic adjustment. This will help get your body in balance and make you feel physically better. It may also make labor easier when it comes...especially if you go on a regular basis.
Remember that you are growing a new life inside of you! You are NOT fat! You are PG!
If you can, go swimming. You'll be weightless in the water and it will feel really good. It's great exercise for PG women.

It is normal to feel like that. Find some maternity clothes that are comfortable to you and are cute at the same time. Your body is stretched to the max, but once you have the baby get on a mission to lose all that baby weight. Congratulations on your growing family!

I know it's hard, but try to focus less on your weight gain. Remember pregnancy is only a temporary state and you will soon be back to normal. Enjoy all the incredible things that come with being pregnant and do things for yourself that you enjoy to take your mind off the less wonderful aspects of pregnancy.

I am also 34 weeks pregnant with a boy and I feel the same way as you. Just remember we don't have long and we will meet our little guys and we won't feel quite so big. I am sure you will lose all of your weight right away and I doubt you are as big and blimpy as you feel. GOOD LUCK AND CONGRATULATIONS!

Do something that makes you feel pretty. Maybe see about doing something different with your hair, or go get your nails done, with a pedicure too! Or go get a special massage (they have pregnancy massages) or spend a day at a spa by yourself or with a friend.
