They are usually so small that they are only used to hold change or makeup and the clasp at the top is two kinda s-shaped metal pieces with balls on top that snap together. Are they called pocketbooks?

i use to have a coin purse collection. We would get one everytime we went on vacation, and I would use it until I got a new one. I threw them in a draw for years and years. My niece found them and loved them, so everytime she comes to visit, {she lives about 200 miles away from me} I let her pick one out to take home. She loves to hear the vacation story behind it. My sister says that she plays with them and has given one to each of her dolls, telling the ones that don't have one, that when she comes back from seeing Aunt Kitty, she will bring one back. My sister says it is so funny, because she knows what the ones I have left, and she tells one of the dolls that she is bringing one back for her, and tells the next doll that she has to wait for hers, just like she has to wait.
